SOCIAL IMPACT EVENTS

Thanks to our partners and support organizations, we have curated a list of local and national opportunities specifically designed for social impact entrepreneurs and enterprises, including accelerators, incubators, grants, fellowships, demos, pitch events, and more.

Upcoming Social Good Exchanges

The Social Good Exchange was created to address isolation and gaps in resources for impact driven leaders in the Twin Cities.

This monthly gathering brings changemakers together to socialize, network, and collaborate with others in the social impact sector to move our initiatives forward.

  • Hosted at mission-driven businesses
  • Includes networking, followed by facilitated small group discussions
  • Every participant has the opportunity to be supported on a challenge or question they have by their small group.
  • Facilitators follow up with actional feedback, resources, and ideas.

Past Social Enterprise Tours

Social enterprises vary in mission, legal structure, industry, and size. By gathering community members at a social enterprise to “see under the hood,” participants gain tangible examples of what social enterprises can be, and how to support them.

Participants toured Quality Bicycle Products, a B Corp certified business. We learned about their commitments to sustainability, how tariffs are impacting their business, and how they have incentivized cycling to improve employee well-being.

Community members enjoyed food and beverages from Queermunity’s cafe, a tour led by Queermunity staff, followed by a discussion on social enterprise and workshop on advocacy and organizing from Kirsten Schuette of Apparatus, GBC.
